I try to make my albums about experiences, caring less if I bounce around genres and more about capturing a particular feeling. For Dialogues in Distance, that was years spent on tour and on the road, recorded in a Detroit basement studio in analog and screamed into mics. From Factories To Fortunes looked at life in factory towns, pushing me into more folk and blues and was my first fully self-made album. My new work, The College Scores is a digital archive of the scores and songs I produced for competitions and festival films.
